What Does Conveyance of Property mean?
A "conveyance" is the transfer of an interest in real property from one person to another. The moment that a correctly prepared Quit Claim Deed is handed from one owner to another is the moment of actual conveyance. It is a legal document at that time. Be sure to protect your interest by recording the deed with the Recorder of Deeds Department, often referred to as the Recorder of Deeds.
