Recording a Quit Claim Deed in Butler County OH.
One of the most important tasks that Butler County Recorder has is keeping up-to-date records pertaining to ownership of real estate and to all encumbrances or liens upon it. This includes Quit Claim Deeds and Mortgages.
Services of the Recorder:
Record Search: Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - the recording desk closes daily at 3:30 p.m.
Their office has full time customer service employees to serve walk-in customers.
They carefully inspect Quit Claim Deed documents to be recorded. If there is an error, they make every effort to correct the document or a letter is sent explaining the problem

Quit Claim Deed, First Two Pages............. $28.00
Each Additional Page After Two............... $8.00
Copy Fees:
To receive copies of documents, the Recorder charges $2.00 per page. They will need the property owner's name, property address, parcel number or lot number to locate documents. One can receive copies of documents by going into the office or sending a request in by mail. They must have the appropriate copy fee before sending copies out.
