Recording a Quit Claim Deed Form in Weber County, Utah
Quit Claim Deed Form Recording Requirements:
The County Recorders will charge an extra $2.00 per page for each Quit Claim Deed document that fails to comply with any of the following.
white paper 8.5 x 11 inches
1 inch margin on all sides of each page
On the first page, in addition to the 1 inch margin, it shall have a have a 2.5 inch margin down and 4.5 inch margin across from its upper right corner
no continuously bound pages
no page printed on both sides
printed in black ink
no more than 7 lines per inch
Quit Claim Deed must be legible for certified copies
Basic Recording Fees:
Quit Claim Deed, First Page................ $10.00
Each additional page....................... $2.00
8.5 x 14 size pages are an additional $2.00 per page
Copies of Quit Claim Deed Documents (per sheet)... $1.00

Recording your Quit Claim Deed document:
Bring or mail your completed Quit Claim Deed document (completely filled out, signed and acknowledged) to the Recorder's Office. Recording information will be put on your Quit Claim Deed document to identify it, and a recording fee will be charged. If the Quit Claim Deed document is mailed in the fee must accompany the Quit Claim Deed document. The original will be returned to you after it has been properly recorded.
As soon as your Quit Claim Deed document has been received by the Recorder's Office and assigned an identification number, it is recorded. The other procedures of the office are necessary to support and confirm the recording of that document for future reference.
